Since I started my fashion and lifestyle blog, CyndiSpivey.com, in 2009, I have always felt called to share more than just the clothes I'm wearing or the latest trends.
What started as a simple way to encourage women on my blog has now turned into my true passion...Beauty for the Heart™.
So often I see women comparing themselves, concerned with how they look or what they don't have. I'm guilty of it, too. If we look beautiful on the outside, but our heart is full of anger, bitterness, hatred, resentment, etc., our beauty is only skin deep.
My heart's mission is to help women, just like you, make our hearts as beautiful as our appearances.
I want to help you feel confident in who Jesus created you to be and help you live a fulfilled life.
Enter Beauty for the Heart™...
an online community dedicated to encouraging women to know their worth in Christ.
It all started with my Mom. You see, she was always starting things: decorating wedding cakes, mastering calligraphy, and even making window treatments for a season. She was one of the most talented and beautiful women I've ever known. But, the one thing that my Mom did start and finish well? Her relationship with Jesus Christ.
The same year I started my blog, my Mom found out she had terminal cancer, and she went to be with Jesus on September 22, 2009.
The blog seemed to be a gift my Mom had left me, and I wanted to keep doing it because she thought it was a great way to share our love for Jesus. I've always believed in my heart that sharing her legacy of faith could be something even more, even bigger, but I knew it had to be God's timing and not my own.
"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'"
The verse from Isaiah 30:21 is what I kept reading.
It finally began to come together in 2021, and I knew expanding Beauty for the Heart™ was the right way.
Mom didn’t wait until her life on earth was almost over to know Christ. She spent her whole life getting to know Christ. She didn’t just go to Christ on the difficult days; she went to Him every day.
When a woman shines with the light of Jesus, I don’t notice her size, shape, eye color, or hair color. I just see Jesus, and it’s breathtaking!
So, sit down, grab a cup of coffee, and stay awhile. I'm so excited to grow and learn with you and see all that Jesus has in store for Beauty for the Heart™.

I love working out and eating well to keep me healthy so I can live life to the fullest!
I lost my Mom in 2009 and now I realize more than ever that life is short. Every moment spent with my family is a gift.
I don’t take it lightly and I know the sacrifices He made so that I could have it. It truly is breathtaking.
